BIOGRAPHY
Laurie was a red headed ruckman and centre-half-forward. He was a hard working player who was a strong mark. Recruited from Mentone CYMS he spent two seasons with Richmond. In 1961 he played briefly with Fitzroy Reserves. He then transferred to Sandringham where he played between 1962 and 1966. He was a member of their 1962 Premiership team and represented the VFA four times. He transferred to Ainslie in 1967 and spent two seasons with that club, as well as captaining the A.C.T Representative side. Laurie now lives in Canberra.
