BIOGRAPHY
Leo was a wingman and rover who worked his way up from Richmond’s Thirds. He spent six seasons with the club, winning the Reserves Best and Fairest award in 1950. He played his three senior games in Rounds 16 and 17 of 1949, against Essendon and South Melbourne and then as a reserve against Geelong in Round 19. He then crossed to Brighton for two seasons before moving to the country. During his career he won seven club and one Competition Best and Fairest awards; however, he never played in a Premiership side. Leo now lives in Burwood after retiring from the Metropolitan Fire Brigade.
