BIOGRAPHY
Malcolm was a centre-half-forward and full-forward who finished his career at full-back. He played with Richmond whilst undergoing National Service training and regrets not staying longer in the VFL. In his first VFL game against St.Kilda at VFL Park he was captured taking a spectacular mark over Roger DEAN and a St.Kilda opponent. The next week he kicked 6 goals in his second and last VFL game against South Melbourne. He also kicked 6 goals for South Australia against Victoria at the MCG in 1971. Originally from South Australian club Sturt he was a fine high mark and a very consistent goalkicker winning the Club’s Goalkicking award five times. He also played in three Premierships with Sturt. He was awarded Life Membership of Sturt Football Club in 1973 and the South Australia National Football League in 1975. A school teacher, he still lives in Adelaide.
