BIOGRAPHY
Martin played mostly in the centre and at centre-half-forward. He came to Richmond via East Burwood and was a member of the Reserves’ 1955 Premiership side. He later moved to Queensland where he served as the Southport Football Club Junior President from 1974 until 1979 and the Vice President of the Gold Coast Junior Football League from 1974 until 1979. He was awarded Life Membership of the Gold Coast Junior Football League in 1979. Martin still lives in Queensland where he runs a small farm. His sons also played senior football for the Southport Football Club.
