BIOGRAPHY
A big follower from Mooroopna, Connors played with Melbourne in 1919 then returned to the country and played with Mooroopna, due to a permit issue.
He played with Richmond in 1922 and 1923 as a ruckman and centre half forward. He suffered a knee injury in his first game in 1922, which prevented him from following up from a good debut ("showed that he had football in him. He should not be left out of the team for indications are that he will make good" ) and hampered games for Mooroopna.
He was unable to play some games during 1923 due to work commitments back in the country.
