BIOGRAPHY
Matt Thomas was drafted from Sandringham Dragons TAC Cup by Port Adelaide with pick 8 in the 2006 AFL Pre-season Draft. Matt
played 87 games for Port Adelaide . When not playing for Port Adelaide senior team he played for initially Woodville West Torrens
and then Norwood. While playing for Norwood he won the SANFL competition Best and Fairest , the Magarey Medal in 2013. Matt
was delisted by Port Adelaide at the end of the 2013 season.
Matt was drafted by Richmond with pick 42 in the 2013 AFL Rookie Draft . Matt was elevated to the Tigers senior list in March 2014. Matt announced his retirement in October 2015.
