BIOGRAPHY
Michael was a utility player who retired from football at the age of 28. He was a skilful player whose career was hampered by leg injuries. He spent nine seasons with St.Kilda before crossing to Richmond for one year. Whilst at St.Kilda, he was selected in the Victorian Squad. After leaving Richmond, he spent one season with Fitzroy before retiring. He is a qualified physical education teacher and has also worked as a male model. Michael was a member of the Channel 7 Sports commentary team, before moving to Channel 9, in Melbourne. Michael is the son of 1958 “Brownlow Medallist” Neil Roberts, who plaed 169 games for St.Kilda between 1952 and 1962.
