BIOGRAPHY
Michael was a strongly-built ruckman. He was a strong mark and fine exponent of handball. Recruited from Maryborough, he spent three years with Richmond. He was a member of the Reserves’ 1966 Premiership side before moving to Sandringham for two seasons. He then spent the remainder of his career in the Bendigo league. He spent the 1970 and 1971 seasons with Eaglehawk playing in their 1971 Premiership side. He then played with Golden Square between 1972 and 1974. He was also a member of the Bendigo League’s Country Championship team in 1972. Michael lives in Bendigo and works in the hotel trade.
