BIOGRAPHY
Murray was a wingman and rover. Recruited from Caulfield Grammar he spent four seasons with Richmond and was a member of the 1973 Reserves Premiership side. His career was interrupted by injury. He was a pacy, skilful player who had good disposal skills. Away from football he is a solicitor and now lives in the southern suburbs. He is the son of former Victorian Liberal Premier and Richmond's Number One ticket holder Lindsay Thompson. Murray is now the Liberal Member for Sandringham.
