BIOGRAPHY
Norman was a fair headed wingman and half-back who was Richmond’s first major recruit from Western Australia. Nicknamed “Snowy” he arrived at Richmond after 10 seasons and two Premierships with South Fremantle. A very consistent and skilful player he joined Richmond during a golden era. The main features of his game were his pace, courage and aggression. He represented Western Australia prior to joining Richmond and he also represented Victoria five times. He spent five seasons with Richmond and was a member of the 1920 Premiership side. After leaving Richmond, he coached in the Wimmera before returning to Western Australia where he coached Claremont for two years and South Fremantle for two years. Norman later umpired in the West Australian Junior Football Association.
