Oleg was drafted by Richmondwith pick 50 overall in the 2015 NAB AFL National Draft . Oleg made his Richmond senior debut in Round 16, 2016 against the Bulldogs.
Oleg played mainly in the VFL through 2016-2020 being a member of the Tigers 2019 VFL Premiership team . Despite some encouraging performances in his limited number of senior games , he was not able to secure a regular place in the strong Premiership winning senior team.
Oleg was traded by Richmond to the Gold Coast at the end of 2020 season in exchange for the Gold Coast 2021 third round draft selection.
