BIOGRAPHY
Owen played most of his football in the back-pocket. He was a steady player who came to Richmond due to a lack of opportunities at Footscray. He played 24 of his 40 senior games with Richmond consecutively after making his debut in Round 13 of 1963. He spent four seasons with Richmond winning the Reserve’s Best and Fairest in 1965. Owen then joined Williamstown. He is the older brother of Norman Madigan, and now lives in Boronia.
