BIOGRAPHY
Patrick Bowden originally played with Rovers in the Northern Territory and was drafted by Western Bulldogs with pick 58 overall
in the 1999 AFL National Draft . Patrick played 50 senior games with the Bulldogs between 2001 and 2005 but felt he wasn’t getting
sufficient senior opportunities and was traded by the Bulldogs to Richmond in exchange for Richmond’s pick 55 in the 2005 AFL
National Draft. The Bulldogs used pick 55 to draft Brent Montgomery in the 2005 AFL National Draft. Patrick was the fourth of his family to play with the Tigers, Dad Mike 1969 Premiership player and brothers Sean and Joel. Patrick played his first senior game with Richmond in Round 1, 2006 against his former team the Western Bulldogs . Patrick had an outstanding year for the Tigers in 2006 , playing every senior game leading Richmond in marks and was equal 4th for marks in the competition and finished 8 th in the club Best and Fairest. Due to injury and form Patrick played 3 games in 2007. Patrick was delisted by Richmond at the end of 2007.
