BIOGRAPHY
Paul Hudson had impressive careers with Hawthorn (1990-1996, 134 games and 264 goals) and Western Bulldogs (1997-2001, 108
games , 214 goals). Richmond after losing to the Brisbane Lions in the 2001 Preliminary Final were keen to get an experienced goalkicker to bolster the senior team in 2002. Paul Hudson was traded by the Western Bulldogs to Richmond in exchange for Richmond’s pick 49 in the 2001 AFL National Draft. The Western Bulldogs used pick 49 to draft Josh Houlihan. Paul played 3 senior games with the Tigers in 2002 and wasn’t able to produce his goalkicking form . Paul retired from AFL football at the end of 2002.
