BIOGRAPHY
Paul was a full-back or half-back who joined Richmond from Ouyen Rovers in 1986. In his first season he started in the Under/19s and worked his way through to the seniors, only to finish the following season in the Under/19s again. Paul was the Under/19s best player in the narrow Grand Final loss to North Melbourne in 1987. He didn’t play in the seniors in either 1987 or 1988 before being selected early in 1989. In 1990, he crossed to Essendon for two seasons before transferring to Fitzroy for two seasons. Paul was lightly-built but athletic and had the ability to stick with opponents and wear them down. He has spent the past two seasons with Preston.
