BIOGRAPHY
Peter was a full-forward. His total career goal's aggregate was around the 950 mark. Recruited from Mentone Juniors he spent three seasons with Richmond. In 1951 Peter won Richmond's Best First Year Player award. He also kicked 7 goals against Melbourne in Round 18 of 1951. In 1952 he won the VFL Reserves Grade Goalkicking award with 64, including a personal best of 13 against North Melbourne. In 1954 he crossed to Melbourne where he spent half a season before transferring to Moorabbin where he established a fine record. In one game against Sandringham in 1954 he kicked 22 goals and went on to win the VFA Goalkicking award that same year. He later moved to North Melbourne where he once kicked 8 goals against South Melbourne 1960 and 10 against the same club in a night game in 1959. He spent five seasons with North Melbourne, winning the Seniors Goalkicking award in 1959. During his career Peter won a total of nine Goalkicking awards. He now lives in the Southern suburbs.
