BIOGRAPHY
Phil was a rover. He was recruited from a local Collingwood church team to the Richmond Reserves in 1940. His league career was interrupted with Army Service during the Second World War between 1941 and 1946. He won the Reserves Best and Fairest award in 1941 and was a member of their Premiership team in 1946. After leaving Richmond, he coached Deniliquin in 1947 and Devon in 1948. Phil died in 1993.
