BIOGRAPHY
Ray played in the back-pocket. Originally from Glenelg, he played with Richmond while serving with the R.A.A.F during the Second World War. In his only season with Richmond, he played in the 1943 Premiership side. He returned to Glenelg where he played 206 games and represented the state five times. He also ran second in the 1946 “Margarey Medal”. Ray died in 1989. His son, Chris, played 146 games with Glenelg between 1960 and 1971.
