BIOGRAPHY
Reg was a full-back who was recruited from Camberwell. After two seasons at Richmond he returned to Camberwell, where he spent eight seasons winning one Best and Fairest award and representing the VFA once. He later became one of the Victoria Police Force’s most famous detectives, and was known as “Hawkeye” because of his photographic memory. He would often stand on the steps of Flinders Street Station and arrest wanted criminals after memorising their photographs from the police wanted sheets. After retiring from the Police Force, Reg was in charge of security at the Tasmanian Casino. He now lives in the southern suburbs.
