CATALOGUE OF RICHMOND JUNIORS/SECONDS PLAYERS: 1919 to 1930 INCLUSIVE
Player’s name/s : seasons played : games played : goals kicked : guernsey number/s

Only games played and goals scored for RICHMOND JUNIORS/SECONDS in PREMIERSHIP matches BEFORE 1931 are recorded.

  • = an asterisk indicates that the footballer’s playing career at Richmond Seconds extended past 1930. The statistics shown are not the player’s career statistics, but merely the games and goals compiled by the end of the 1930 season. Career statistical records of players whose careers extended past 1930 will be shown in the next volume.

(p) = played in a premiership team.

Guernsey Numbers : The recording of guernsey numbers for the second eighteen is imprecise and incomplete. The existing records of player numbers prior to 1930, and the first regular publication of the Junior League Record, is poor. To complicate matters often players would wear a variety numbers throughout the season, such as J. Payne who wore five numbers in 1930. Some guernseys will be worn by as many as five players in the one year.

RFC 2nds AR of 1928 lists him as W. Ewenson (that would be William Alexander Ewenson) kicking 1 goal, but doesn't list him in their players list for that season.
Although they give him the initial of W, I'm leaning towards the brother George as per this article that says the Camberwell Ewenson had come from the Richmond 2nds, and that Ewenson appears to be initialised G during his Camberwell career.
