BIOGRAPHY
Riley Collier-Dawkins was selected by Richmond with their first pick in the 2018 NAB AFL National Draft, selection No 20 overall. Riley, recruited from Oakleigh Chargers U/18’s impressed with his height ,weight and power. Riley had to be patient to break into the strong Premiership winning senior line-up , but performed well as a strong midfielder in the Tigers 2019 VFL Premiership win.
Riley suffered an early setback in his time with Oakleigh Chargers , missing selection for Vic Metro U/16 team , but a height surge of 7cm saw him selected in the Vic Metro U/18 team in 2018. Like other young players , Riley’s opportunities for senior selection through 2020 & 2021 were hampered by the Covid19 pandemic.

Riley eventually made his senior debut with the Tigers in Round 7 ,2021 against the Western Bulldogs at the MCG receiving his No 26 guernsey from former player Chris Hyde. With the senior team exposure of 9 games during 2021, Riley now approaches season 2022 with a great opportunity to secure a permanent position in the Tigers senior team.
