BIOGRAPHY
After playing 174 games with North Melbourne during 2008 – 2021 Robbie Tarrant at the end of the 2021 season was traded to
Richmond in exchange for Callum Coleman-Jones and a swap of draft picks. Robbie who had an outstanding career at North Melbourne as a key defender had become eligible as a Restricted Free Agent and was sought by Richmond to strengthen the Tiger’s defence , particularly with the retirement of three time premiership player David Astbury. Robbie was not expecting to change clubs but Richmond’s interest and enthusiasm encouraged him to agree to a trade. Robbie has settled in well at Richmond ,was able to complete a full pre-season of training and made his debut with the Tiger’s senior team on 17 th March 2022 in Round 1 of the 2022 season against Carlton.
He retired in July 2023
