BIOGRAPHY
Ron was a rover. He spent two seasons with Richmond before crossing to Mitcham as a playing-coach. Ten of his 16 senior games were as a reserve; however he did kick 5 goals against against Geelong in Round 5 of 1962. A schoolteacher, by profession he also coached the Burwood Technical School side for 20 years. After retiring as a player , he umpired in the Metropolitan , CYMS and YCW competitions. Ron also represented the Richmond Cricket Club Senior XI, as batsman
