BIOGRAPHY
Ross was originally from Minyip and recruited to Richmond from the Ballarat U/18’s with pick 78 in the 1995 National Draft being one of youngest players at 17. Ross was a medium size defender or run with player . Ross was a very determined player but was unable to secure a permanent place in the Senior Team , playing a lot of Reserves football as a consequence. Ross was delisted by Richmond at 21 years of age . After an impressive 2000 season with North Ballarat Roosters he was picked up by Melbourne for a second chance at AFL. Ross delisted from Melbourne in 2002 transferred to Port Adelaide Magpies where he established himself as a valuable player.
