BIOGRAPHY
Roy was a full-back. He played all his country football in the same team as former Richmond rover Jack Fincher. Roy played in the first senior game of 1926 against South Melbourne, where he was described as being everawed by the occasion and intimidated by his opponent, Ted Johnson. On the positive side, he was described as a fine kick.
