BIOGRAPHY
On his debut in Rd 1 1916, he was the youngest member of the team (20 years, 26 days).
Born in Norwood, South Australia, he had been misidentified by the AFL's research department as having been born in Melbourne in 1891.
After Richmond he went to Brunswick in the VFA, and tried out with Fitzroy, before returning in 1920 to play briefly for Richmond Reserves.
