BIOGRAPHY
Royce Vardy played football for Devon–Welshpool-Won Wron- Woodside in the Alberton league and was drafted by Richmond with pick 21 in the 2000 AFL Rookie Draft. Royce was added to the Richmond senior list by Rookie Elevation before the 2000 season. Royce played his first senior game for Richmond in Round 9, 2000 against West Coast. Royce, a defender played 34 games with Richmond from 2000 to 2003. Royce in late 2001 was charged with drink driving which caused the Club sponsor the Transport Accident Commission to threaten to reduce it’s sponsorship of the Club. Royce played some solid games in the senior team but wasn't able to secure a regular place . Royce was delisted by Richmond at the end of 2003.
