BIOGRAPHY
SID was a half-forward and wingman who joined Richmond from Sandringham. A creative player he was not afraid to burrow in for the hard ball. Eight of his 13 senior games were as a reserve. In 1934 he stood out of football and worked as a football commentator. He then moved to Footscray where he was senior captain in 1937. He later served as Secretary of the Richmond Cricket Club between 1961 and 1967. He was an Educational Administrator by profession and now lives in Parkdale.
