BIOGRAPHY
Sid played in the back-pocket and centre. He was a courageous player who suffered many broken noses as a result of his endeavours to win the ball. He was a member of the 1919 Grand Final side and was awarded Life Membership the same year. He won Richmond’s Best and Fairest award in 1914. He later played with the Tramways side in the mid-week competition where he was playing-coach in 1923 and 1924. The Tramways side were Premiers in 1923. Sid died in 1963.
