BIOGRAPHY
Stan was a wingman and rover. Recruited from Fairfield, he only spent one season with Richmond, before moving to Footscray. He was a member of the Reserves’ first Premiership side in 1929. Away from football he worked as a self-employed salesman and died in 1964. Stan was the brother of Jack Harris who played 88 games with Collingwood between 1925 and 1929 and was a member of their 1927 and 1928 Premiership sides. Jack was then captain/coach of Hawthorn in 1930 and 1931, playing 34 games.
