BIOGRAPHY
Stan played mainly as a follower. Originally from Ringwood he spent one season with Richmond before crossing to Canterbury. He was a champion with Canterbury winning five Best and Fairest awards in eight seasons. He also played five games with Hawthorn in 1942 before returning to Canterbury. A butcher, he joined the A.I.F and saw action as a gunner during the Second World War. He died in 1975.
