BIOGRAPHY
Stan was a ruck-rover and half-back. Recruited from the local Richmond area, he spent four seasons with the club, winning the Reserves’ Best and Fairest award in 1948. He spent five of his six senior games as a reserve before being selected in the last game of 1949 against Geelong. It was a memorable match because Richmond won and Jack Dyer played his last game. Stan played with Coburg in 1951 before coaching Macleod-Rosanna.
