BIOGRAPHY
Ted was a local Richmond boy who played as a rover and forward-pocket. He was a courageous and determined player who knew where the goals were. His highest individual goal tally with Richmond was 5 which he scored on six occasions. He was a member of the Reserves’ 1955 Premiership side and the seniors’ only night Premiership side, in 1962. He also won the Seniors Goalkicking award in 1958, 1961 and 1962. He left Richmond at the age of 25 to play with South Australian club Sturt. After retiring as a player, he became a football commentator. Ted now lives in the Adelaide Hills.
