BIOGRAPHY
Tom Hislop grew up in Burnie , Tasmania . Tom played with the Tassie Mariners in the TAC Cup. Tom was drafted by Essendon with
pick 20 in the 2006 AFL National Draft. Tom played 7 games with Essendon in 2007-2008 and was delisted by Essendon at the end of 2008. Tom re-entered the draft system and was drafted by Richmond with pick 58 in the 2008 AFL National Draft. Tom played his first senior game with Richmond in Round 2, 2009 against Geelong. Tom played 12 senior games in 2009 and 3 games in 2010 leading Richmond to delist him at the end of 2010. Richmond redrafted Tom with pick 45 overall in the 2011 AFL Rookie Draft. Tom, despite some impressive games was unable to achieve the consistency needed to secure a regular place in the senior team. Tom was delisted by Richmond at the end of 2011.
