BIOGRAPHY
Trent Knobel originally played with Broadbeach in the AFLQ and the NEAFL and debuted for Brisbane Lions in Round 14, 2000 against North Melbourne . Trent played 13 senior games with Brisbane in 2000 and 2001 before being traded to St Kilda at the end of the 2001 season in exchange for St Kilda’s pick 45 in the 2001 AFL National Draft. Trent played 41 games with St Kilda between 2002 and 2004. Trent was delisted by St Kilda at the end of 2004 . Trent was drafted by Richmond with pick 1 in the 2005 AFL Pre-season Draft. Trent played his first senior game with Richmond in Round 1, 2005 against Geelong playing 18 games for the season. Trent played 3 games in 2006 and no games in 2007 with injuries and the emergence of Troy Simmonds as the number 1 ruckman keeping him out of the senior team. Trent retired from AFL football at the end of 2007.
