BIOGRAPHY
Ty Zantuck is the son of Shane Zantuck former AFL player with North Melbourne , South Melbourne and Melbourne. Ty played school football at St Bernards , Essendon and Western Jets in the TAC Cup. Ty was drafted by Richmond with pick 78 overall in the 1999 AFL National Draft . Ty played his first senior game with Richmond in Round 20 , 2000 against St Kilda . Ty , a defender who had the versatility to also play forward found his first and second year tough to secure a place in the senior team although he played in the Qualifying Final loss to Essendon in 2001. Ty played every senior game in 2002 and 2003 . Ty was unable to retain the form of the previous two years but kicked 4 goals against Collingwood in Round 21 of 2004 . Ty was unable to consistently reproduce that form and was delisted by Richmond at the end of 2004.
