BIOGRAPHY
Vic was recruited from the local Richmond area and played in the centre and as a half-forward. His three senior games with Richmond were played in the first 4 rounds of 1947 with two as a reserve. After two years with Richmond, he crossed to South Melbourne and then moved to Oakleigh where he played his best football. He was a creative player who was both skilled and courageous. He represented the VFA four times and also ran second in the “Liston Trophy” in 1953 and fifth in 1954. During his career he won nine Best and Fairest awards, including three at Oakleigh. Vic now lives in Richmond.
