BIOGRAPHY
Walter was born in Chiltern and was a member of the Victoria Police Force stationed at Richmond, when he played his one game for Richmond. He played with the police team and was a workmate of Bernie Herbert who was also stationed at the Richmond. He was later dismissed from the Police Force after failing to report for duty during the police strike in November, 1923.
