BIOGRAPHY
William was a wingman whose only senior game was in Round 8 of 1916 against Fitzroy as a 17-year-old. A Doctor of Medicine, he later coached Trafalgar while working in that town and died in 1973. His son, Brian, also a doctor, captained the Melbourne Reserves’ side, in the 1950s.
