BIOGRAPHY
The son of 1973 and 1974 premiership player Kevin Morris. Morris captained the Western Jets in 2007, and played four season with West Adelaide, the team his father had coached to a Grand FInal in 1991. He won that club's Best and Fairest in 2011. Morris joined Richmond as on-traded player from GWS in exchange for pick 14 in 2011 National Draft.
At the end of the 2014 season, Morris underwent shoulder reconstruction. Coach Damien Hardwick revealed that Morris had carried the injury since the final pre-season game.
As part of Richmond's leadership group for the 2015 season, he captained the side in a pre-season match against Footscray. In Round 11 2016, he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament, ending his season.
He played an integral role for the VFL Tigers in 2017, and managed to make a return to senior football in 2016.
The club delisted him from the senior playing list in October 2017, but he has agreed to play for the VFL Tigers in 2018. He was appointed captain of that side for the 2018 season.
